Alan Weinstein

Mr. Weinstein is an independent healthcare consultant and is the former president of Premier, Inc. Premier was formed in 2000 out of the merger of SunHealth, AmHS, and Premier Health Alliance. The organization provided a wide range of services to 1,700 member hospitals nationwide, including group purchasing, hospital insurance services, management engineering, data services, venture funding and strategic consulting. Mr. Weinstein was the CEO and president of Premier Health Alliance, prior to its merger with SunHealth and AmHS. Before that, he served as executive vice president of the Illinois Hospital Association; president and CEO of North Suburban Association for Health Resources in Northbrook, IL; and executive director of the Midtown Hospital Association in Denver. Mr. Weinstein is a graduate of Allegheny College and has an M.B.A. from Cornell University. Mr. Weinstein serves on the board of directors of the American International Health Alliance and the National Advisory Committee of the Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellows Program. He also is a board member of privately held companies that provide services to hospitals.
Anthony Alibrio

Mr. Alibrio is a veteran of the healthcare industry and most recently served as president of the healthcare services division of Sodexho Marriott Services, Inc.(formerly Marriott International), retiring in March 2001 after a 37-year career. Under his leadership, the division reached sales in excess of $3.2 billion, providing on-site department management services in the areas of environmental services, engineering, food and nutrition services, patient transport and guest services. The division served over 1,000 healthcare facility clients, employing 5,400 managers and dietitians and 75,000 hourly employees. Mr. Alibrio, who still holds the title of president emeritus of Sodexho's healthcare division, is past chairman and previously a member of the board of trustees of the National Committee for Quality Health Care, past chairman and a member of Health Insights Foundation, and a fellow of the American Academy of Medical Administrators. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University, Middletown CT.
Robert R. Fanning, Jr.

Mr. Fanning recently retired from Huron Consulting Group (formerly Speltz & Weis) where he served as COO for St. Vincent Catholic Medical Centers in New York City. Prior to joining Speltz & Weis in 2003, Mr. Fanning was a Senior Principal with BBK, an internationally recognized corporate renewal, operations improvement and turnaround management. Mr. Fanning joined Beverly Hospital as President of the Corporation and CEO in June 1980. He functioned as the President of Northeast Health Systems, Inc (an affiliation of Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert Hospital) from 1980 to 2000. He was named President of Emeritus Northeast Health Systems/Northeast Hospital Corporation in October 2000. Previously, Mr. Fanning was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Children’s Medical Center, Boston (1977-1980) and held various administrative positions at the Burbank Hospital, Fitchburg, MA (1972-1977). He is a Life Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and is a Past Chairman of that organization. Mr. Fanning holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. degree in Health Care Administration from Xavier University.
Jeffrey S. Levitt

Mr. Levitt has over 30 years experience with healthcare services companies including the development and general management of Johnson Rents, a regional durable medical equipment company, Foster Medical Corporation, a public company roll-up of durable medical equipment companies, Heritage Health Systems, Inc., a roll-up of health maintenance organizations and Orthopedic Services, Inc., a public company roll-up of artificial limb and brace providers. Mr. Levitt was also a founding director of NovaCare, Inc., a public company roll-up of physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy providers to the long-term care industry that went public in 1986. Levitt sold Orthopedic Services to NovaCare in 1992 and remained with that company until 1994, after which time he became a private investor. Mr. Levitt graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and obtained his law degree from Villanova University. He is both an attorney and certified public accountant.
Dr. Guthrie is an executive in residence and adjunct professor at the University of Colorado School of Business and serves as an executive coach and management consultant, specializing in physician leadership development. He recently served as senior vice president for Premier, Inc., prior to that he was the CEO of the Good Samaritan Health System in San Jose, California. He is a member of the board of directors for IntelliDot Corporation.
Terry Allison Rappuhn

Ms. Rappuhn, C.P.A., is a senior healthcare financial executive and senior healthcare consultant with over 25 years experience and has served in executive positions with Quorum Health Group, Inc. and Ernst & Young. Ms. Rappuhn is currently leading a healthcare coalition initiative driven by the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and aimed at creating consumer-friendly billing and financial processes for healthcare providers and payers across the country.
Michael B. Guthrie, MD, MBA
Member, Advisory Council
Dr. Guthrie is an Executive in Residence at the University of Colorado- Denver campus in the School of Business, Program in Health Administration. Mike has been a practicing physician, a medical director and a chief operating officer. Most recently, he was a Senior Vice President for Premier, Inc. Previously, he was the CEO of the Good Samaritan Health System in San Jose, CA. Dr. Guthrie teaches, speaks, and leads learning collaborative for health care executive teams, boards of trustees, and physician leader groups in organizations of various types. He is an executive coach, focusing on supporting physician executive performance. He has special experience in the areas of physician leadership development, helping physicians, hospitals and health systems work effectively together to improve quality, safety, and cost. Dr. Guthrie graduated from Amherst College and received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He received his Masters in Business Administration from the School of Business at the University of Colorado. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and was in private practice prior to becoming a physician executive in 1979. He is a past President of the American Academy of Medical Directors and past President of the American College of Physician Executives.
Pam Arlotto, FHIMSS, MBA

Ms. Arlotto has a twenty nine year track record as a healthcare industry consultant and entrepreneur. As President of Maestro Strategies LLC, she combines her extensive experience in strategic planning, organization design, and process transformation with information technology expertise to create a firm with a unique focus on value improvement in healthcare. Under her leadership, Maestro Strategies was one of the first consulting firms to focus on HIT Return on Investment and the alignment of business strategy with information technology strategy. While National President of the Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society (HIMSS), she developed the strategy that incorporated IT into the association’s membership. She negotiated HIMSS departure from the American Hospital Association and led the development of two of its first strategic plans. She is a Board Member of the Business School at Georgia Tech and the Georgia Tech Foundation; and a former faculty member in the Healthcare Informatics program at University of Alabama at Birmingham. Previously, she served on the Board of Medishare International. Pam earned her Master of Business Administration at Georgia State University and her Bachelor of Science in Health Systems at Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2003, she co-authored the award-winning book, Return on Investment: Maximizing the Value of Healthcare Information Technology. In February 2007, she released the second in this series, Beyond Return on Investment: Expanding the Value of Healthcare Information Technology.
Carl Witonsky

Mr. Witonsky began his career at IBM where, during a ten year stint, he was the advisory Systems Engineer for Princeton University and the Marketing Manager for the State of New Jersey. The remainder of his career has been in healthcare IT, including 13 years at SMS/Siemens as the senior executive in software development and operations, helping grow the company from post startup to $500 million in revenue and the industry leader. He then became CEO and board chairman of GMIS, a restart company which became the leading fraud and abuse IT organization for the payer industry, for which Carl led a successful IPO. He then joined St. Paul Venture Capital as managing director of their healthcare fund for 10 years. In 2003, he joined Falcon Cpaital Partners as a Manager Director. He has served as interim CEO and board member of CliniComp International and is Chairman of the Board of Sentillion, Inc., the leading provider of identity and access solutions to hospitals. Recently, Mr. Witonsky has joine the boards of HCTSi, a clinical provider of IT systems to rural hospitals. Carl earned a bachelors degree from Albright College in Math/Physics as well as being a graduate of IBM’s Systems Research Institute.
